Field Map
 





Navigation:

  • Go to the Field Details screen for the desired field
  • On the bottom section where your boundary is, there is an icon with four arrows pointing in different directions. This icon is to expand the map, you can add or review your benchmarks and zones.
  • Click on the expand icon

  • A new screen will be displayed, now you can see the boundary and map filling the whole screen.
  • At the top of this screen there are three different icons
    • Plus sign = add points to your map
    • Globe = display different layers like your boundary, nutrient zones, or PowerZones
    • A flat map = switch between different map backgrounds.

Add a Benchmark to your map

  • Click on the plus sign located at the top right of the screen.
  • You will notice that your screen has changed, now you have an “X” right in the middle of the screen, some fields to enter the benchmark description, and select the pin color.
  • Wherever the “X” is located is where the pin will be drop.
    • You can move your screen around manually or you can click on the ‘Current Location’ icon (your current location will be centered in the screen)

  • Enter a name and description, select the pin color
  • At the top right there should be a check mark and a cross to OK or cancel.
  • You point should be displayed in your map
  • You might notice the distance has been updated. The distance is being calculated from your current location to the nearest point in your field.

Edit/Delete a benchmark

  • Click on the pin you want to delete
  • The name or an empty dialog bubble will be displayed with the name
  • Click the dialog bubble, and the “X” should display in the pins location, along with the description on the bottom
  • You can edit the pin color, description, name, and even the location of your pin
  • To change the location, just reposition the “X” in your map and click the check mark at the top right
  • To delete the pin just click the trash can icon

Switch layers

  • Click the Globe icon located at the top right of the screen
  • A new screen will pop up, displaying a list of all the layers available for your field
  • Select the layer you wish to see

  • After you have selected an option from your screen the layer should display in the map
  • You can display the outline of the map if desired by clicking on the dash icon
